Bariatric surgery has become the treatment of choice for morbid obesity. This case report aims to increase awareness of the emergency physician of a possible presentation of a gastrobronchial fistula after bariatric surgery. Similar presentation may occur after esophageal or other upper abdominal surgery. Appropriate studies for diagnosis are contrast-enhanced abdominal computed tomography and upper gastrointestinal studies.
