Injury Mechanism
Traumatic head injury is disfunctioning of brain due to a mechanical force. Disfunctioning could be temporary or permanent, and may cause structural changes in the brain or not. Clinical severity might vary between very light (confusion or amnesia) and very severe (unresponsiveness and coma)(1).
